Roseland Lodge Park
Roseland is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Canada Hill above the town of Rothesay. There are outstanding views of the bay and the hills and sea lochs of the Cowal peninsula. We are the only official campsite on the island and are conveniently situated for all the facilities that Rothesay has to offer.

Covid-19 Booking Conditions, Restrictions and Guidelines.
Opening Dates
Caravan Park – Pitches are Available Seasonally From April to October.
Lodge Park – Pitches are Available Seasonally From the 3rd Friday in March to the 3rd Sunday in December.
Booking Information/Deposit Requirements
- If your booking is below £20 the whole amount is required to secure a booking and is non-refundable.
- If you booking is between £20 to £80, a £20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance due on arrival.
- If your booking is above £80, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance due on arrival.
- For Glamping Pod bookings, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking, with the non –refundable balance then due 7 days prior to arrival.
Camping Pitches
We have 10 pitches that are suitable for tents, the pitches can accommodate regular sized 4 man tents or moderately sized 6 man tents. These pitches have electric hook-up if required. Pets are permitted, but must be kept under strict supervision (maximum two dogs), please refer to Pet Guidance on our website for more info.
Please be aware that these camping pitches are on an incline.
Touring Pitches
We have 3 different types of touring pitches that can accommodate most types of touring vehicles, this includes; caravans, campervans, motorhomes and trailer tents. Please refer to the descriptions on our website regarding pitch types and their location on site, to help you pick the best type of pitch for your needs, Electric hook-up is available if required on all our touring pitches. Glamping Pods
Fancy camping but not the idea of living in a tent, then this is for you.
Our Glamping Pods provide all the fun and outdoors lifestyle of camping with a little more luxury.
Glamping pods are fitted with...
- 1 double and 2 single bed spaces, with leatherette mattresses.
- Mini fridge, microwave, kettle, TV and a heater.
Shared facilities include...
- A covered outside space between the 4 Glamping pods for you use your own BBQ’S.
- Shower and toilet block nearby.
- Pod wash area.
- Laundry facilities at the caravan park.
Some things to bring with you, to get the best Glamping experience...
- Bedding
- Cooking and eating utensils including a BBQ.
Our Glamping Pods are perfect for cyclists, walkers and families with children who’d like to experience the great outdoors……..erm, indoors!
